Womens Wetsuits
We have some fantastic women's wetsuits which cater for all levels, from beginners just starting out to seasoned veterans. Many of the wetsuits in our range are made by O'Neill who you might not know, is actually the company responsible for inventing the neoprene wetsuit itself.
Jack O'Neill set up the company in 1952 when he was experimenting with WWII diving suits. From being the early pioneer, they are still at the forefront of wetsuit design today, always innovating and pushing forward with the development of high quality materials, which are tailor made for comfort, performance, flexibility and support. Their women's wetsuits are no exception.
Durable layer
All the O'Neill women's wetsuits, from the entry level suits to the high level designs, have been built to last. With the most affordable of wetsuits, these feature a strong and comfortable stitch, with the outer layer also resistant to pulling and snagging. The higher level wetsuits then build on this strong foundation by fine tuning it so there's a more developed focus on breathability and comfort.
Comfortable and efficient for swimming
The women's wetsuits we stock are not just made to withstand and insulate against the conditions, but also to ensure that you thrive in them when you're in the water. As such, many features have been included so that you will be able to move fluently and smoothly in the water. An example of this is way in which the buoyancy of the wetsuits encourages a neutral profile that is comfortable for swimming. On top of that, the wetsuits are made so that the areas which move the most during swimming are the most flexible. You will be able to move through the water more efficiently thanks to the use of materials that minimise drag. At the same time, you will always have the coverage that you need, with extra padding ensuring that there is no danger of the suits becoming see-through even when at maximum stretch.
Versatile wetsuits for women
Depending on your preferences, you can either go for a full suit or shorty, or when it comes to trisuits, a full suit or a sleeveless suit. If you need a suit for a triathalon, then we also have a great range of women's trisuits available from Zone3.
Eco-credentials
On top of all of the above, the brand, O'Neill, has also found a way of creating neoprene out of limestone and scrap rubber tires, meaning that their wetsuits are more eco-friendly now than they have ever been.
